you know I want to compliment the guys
0:01
on kind of um you know working to get
0:03
better each and every day it really
0:05
hasn't been about Connecticut at this
0:06
point and uh you know we're just trying
0:08
to do a good job of uh you know staying
0:11
where our feet are and and uh getting
0:13
better each and every uh every day
0:15
collectively and individually and I
0:17
think these guys have done a good job of
0:19
kind of knocking out some of the
0:20
distractions and and doing
0:23
that how many guys that are
0:28
know yeah I mean what you
0:33
go ahead
0:34
I all right how many guys that are in
0:37
the portal right now are still
0:38
practicing as well as uh there's uh a
0:42
bunch of guys I don't know the exact
0:43
number but everybody's out there
0:45
practicing right now except for maybe
0:46
one or two FR who do you have who do you
0:50
have at offensive coordinator
0:53
since uh we're collectively doing it as
0:56
an offensive staff and uh you know
0:57
Lonnie's kind of uh uh scripting and and
1:01
getting this prepared for practice each
1:02
and every day and who just to follow up
1:05
on that who do you see calling plays in
1:06
the bow game yeah I don't think we've
1:08
really determined that yet we're just
1:09
trying to again we're just trying to get
1:11
better each and every day and and that
1:13
really doesn't require a play caller U
1:15
on Thursday week and a half before the
1:17
game no Fredy I know you said it's not
1:20
all about youon right now but in your
1:22
initial study of them what is it that
1:25
jumps out about them and what can be a
1:27
challenge for you guys well I think uh
1:29
you know it's more about us than
1:30
anything this time of year especially um
1:34
you know again I'll reiterate we're
1:36
trying to just stay and and get better
1:38
each and every day on whatever we're
1:39
doing whether we're working on third
1:40
down in general or first to second down
1:43
play action uh goal line uh Red Zone it
1:46
doesn't matter whatever the day of
1:47
emphasis is that's what we're trying to
1:49
do is get better Adam mentioned
1:51
offensive coordinator is coach Tom still
1:53
going to be part the defensive play yes
1:55
yes Coach Collins uh nothing's really
1:56
changed from an offensive or defensive
1:58
staff or special team staff
2:00
uh per se um all of our coaches are here
2:03
except for chip um and of course we're
2:05
going to miss chip but uh you know we'll
2:08
make up for it what was the I guess kind
2:10
of process of you know coming the in
2:13
room you know obviously day after the
2:14
state game you were names what was that
2:16
process in those conversations yeah I
2:18
think uh you know I don't really know
2:20
what the process I didn't make that
2:21
decision and uh you know I was just I'm
2:24
here just to to serve Carolina and be
2:26
the best version of myself I can be for
2:28
us at this time what was the challenge
2:30
for you that Sunday your named interim
2:33
head coach you have to deal with the
2:34
team what were some of those early
2:36
challenges what was your initial message
2:38
to them that you kind of tried to
2:39
maintain throughout well I think uh the
2:42
team for the most part uh they know me
2:44
they understand me they know how I
2:46
operate uh I'm kind of a straight
2:48
shooter and I don't really pull any
2:49
punches and and they know that that's
2:51
what they were going to get uh the whole
2:53
time and and really it's just a matter
2:55
of the guys that may not know me as well
2:57
getting to know me and and I think uh
3:00
I've done a good job of allowing them to
3:01
get to know me and they've done a good
3:03
job of reciprocating as the search
3:06
carried into um past two weeks and
3:09
regardless what some speculation that
3:11
was going on out there did it become
3:13
increasingly difficult to kind of keep
3:14
the kids focused on now when they didn't
3:18
know who the coach was going to be and
3:19
maybe thought one would would have been
3:20
named a little bit sooner yeah I don't
3:22
think that never came up really you know
3:25
uh I think we've got a good group of
3:26
kids uh they're good kids and also they
3:29
they're good at the ability to you know
3:32
stay where their feet are and and stay
3:34
focused on what they're doing at that
3:35
moment and they did a good job of that
3:37
didn't hurt that finals fell in there
3:39
too as far as game planning where is
3:42
Coach belich come down on that well
3:44
coach belich is really uh he's leaving
3:47
it up to the staff right now but he's
3:48
aware of everything that we do on each
3:50
each and every day um he's aware of
3:53
practice uh and things like that but but
3:56
right now I think we're just going to
3:57
finish the year out and then uh go from
4:00
there what does the dep chart look like
4:02
in the off of that field uh I think it's
4:05
probably you take amarian out of the
4:07
equation and and everything else you've
4:09
gotten the rest of the
4:10
Year Freddy do you have when you're
4:12
talking about B check and um you know
4:15
being aware of practice I guess keeping
4:17
an eye on practices being out there when
4:18
you can do you like report give him a
4:21
practice report like daily or just go by
4:24
his office and say like look here's what
4:25
I got for like give him a breakdown like
4:27
how does that work just with the sort
4:29
sort of like relaying the information I
4:31
guess yeah well coach belich and I are
4:33
in in contact and we talked every uh
4:36
talk every day and uh yeah I mean he
4:38
asked questions I answered questions and
4:41
uh you know so he's fully aware of
4:42
everything dealing with this program uh
4:45
since day one um so nothing's changed of
4:48
that so how did the process play out
4:50
with him naming you as the first
4:53
publicly as assisant coach was some of
4:55
those conversations and and what is your
4:57
role going to be or do you know 100%
4:59
what your
5:00
well I think whatever my role is um will
5:03
remain between coach belich and I and um
5:06
you know when he gets ready to announce
5:07
those things he'll do that and uh that's
5:09
not for me to decide or announce he did
5:12
he did say in Inu press conference that
5:15
you were you going to be on the staff so
5:18
if you can tell us kind of how that
5:20
played out and why you want to be on the
5:22
staff with him and just kind of take us
5:23
into some of that well I've known coach
5:25
belich for a while and um you know we've
5:28
competed against each other when I was
5:30
in Cleveland and even when I was in
5:31
Arizona um so I think coach belich knows
5:35
who I am and I know who he is certainly
5:37
and um you know that's about all I have
5:40
to say about that as far as how things
5:42
happen and things like that that that's
5:43
kind of a we keep that between ourselves
5:46
does the par sales connection play in
5:48
there too Freddy since you work for him
5:50
bich worked for him like do you guys
5:53
share common bond with with the part
5:55
under the par sales treaty maybe well I
5:57
think um uh ultimately I feel very
6:00
fortunate on who I've had an opportunity
6:02
to work for even going back to um you
6:05
know Daryl Dicky Sylvester K coach
6:07
parcel coach Savin uh Rick tricket um
6:12
Ken wizen Hunt Bruce arens uh so you
6:16
know I feel very fortunate on everybody
6:18
that I've and you still have to produce
6:20
and you have to perform uh with anybody
6:23
you did and hopefully I did that for
6:24
Coach barcel so if that helped me in any
6:26
way so be it but I'm not sure what are
6:29
your thoughts on him doing this with
6:31
someone you've been in the NFL you're in
6:33
college and there are there were bigger
6:36
differences before now there aren't as
6:38
many difference as what you thought
6:39
about a guy who's experienced what he
6:41
has now embarking on this kind of
6:43
challenge well I think um you know again
6:46
that's that's a question for him to
6:47
answer it's not for me to answer but um
6:50
you know I love the fact that he wanted
6:51
to come to Carolina I love Carolina I
6:53
want what's best for Carolina and I know
6:55
right now at this moment in time uh
6:57
coach B's best for Carolina
6:59
was there shock for you at all Freddy
7:01
like this thing shocked a lot of people
7:03
um you know especially when they first
7:05
heard it like you know come on really
7:07
yeah were you stun I don't think I think
7:10
the longer you stay in this business the
7:11
the least amount you be shocked but no
7:14
not at all coach bel's a ball coach and
7:16
um you know I'm feel very fortunate to
7:19
to be able to extend and and work here
7:22
at Carolina for him and and for the
7:24
people at Carolina and at the end of the
7:26
day um you know he's a ball coach and
7:29
and I enjoy working for ball coaches and
7:32
just to follow up on that is that
7:33
something that you yourself have
7:36
experienced coming back from the NFL
7:39
like has you know has coming back to
7:41
college I don't know refreshed you
7:43
reinvigorated you like is that something
7:45
that you have found since you spent all
7:46
that time in the NFL well I think um on
7:50
a personal level you know I got into
7:52
this business uh for um the reason why I
7:56
got into this business was because of
7:58
some of the biggest impacts in my life
7:59
were my college football coaches and uh
8:02
kind of lost track of that a little bit
8:03
in the NFL for after 16 years and I had
8:06
the opportunity with my daughters going
8:08
to college and and the family life
8:10
really not being the same in college
8:12
football and in the NFL um you know it
8:15
was a good opportunity for us to decide
8:17
what we wanted to do my wife and I so uh
8:20
we decided to give College a try and U
8:23
and I realized why I enjoyed college
8:24
football so much not to say I didn't
8:26
enjoy the NFL football but um you know I
8:29
if I can impact a kid from 18 to 22 in a
8:33
positive manner I think that's worth it
8:34
so uh the same as as people did for me
8:37
yeah youve talked about of course as a
8:39
staff you guys are doing a lot
8:41
collectively you know in preparation not
8:43
not even just for you but just
8:44
individually I guess how different for
8:46
you has it been you know overseeing
8:50
pretty much you know everything and just
8:52
taking a broader view as opposed to
8:54
during the season be kind of more on
8:56
your
8:57
position well I think uh you know of
8:59
course it's a different role and a
9:00
different job uh description and my
9:03
responsibilities change but at the end
9:05
of the day um you know however I factor
9:08
in offensively or defensively or or
9:10
overall scheme of things uh really it's
9:13
just to put try to put the player in the
9:14
best position to be successful uh
9:16
whether that be a guys as a position
9:17
coach a coordinator a head coach it
9:20
doesn't matter you're still trying to
9:21
just put them in the best position uh to
9:23
be successful how you seen some of the
9:25
guys that you know and again I know
9:28
several guys are still around what they
9:29
might be B you know whatever obious seen
9:32
some of the guys that know they kind of
9:34
will have an increased rep count how
9:35
different do they see the RS maybe some
9:37
of the money backs like you mentioned
9:38
like how different have they come of
9:40
approach that well I think uh you know
9:42
we try to create these practices to be
9:44
very competitive and uh I think um you
9:48
know when you stay where your feet are
9:49
you're trying to get better and you try
9:51
to create
9:53
competition um I think that's always a
9:55
good thing you see some people thrive
9:57
with competition and some people don't
9:59
and you know we'd rather find out about
10:00
it on the practice field than on game
10:02
day how does the Playbook Chang from the
10:04
last couple of games
10:06
to I think uh you know I don't know I
10:10
don't know we will We I'm not going to
10:12
sit here and give away like plays and
10:14
stuff we're working on and stuff like
10:15
that I mean you have to go to the game
10:18
Saturday next Saturday we got a lot of
10:20
trick plays for them okay just
10:23
kidding did you uh even before doll Che
10:27
about you notice college game was Waring
10:31
into what the NFL was like maybe 10 or
10:35
15 years ago uh definitely I think um
10:40
you know anytime you you
10:42
include uh the acquisition of players
10:47
people are going to draw similarities to
10:48
the National Football League and um you
10:51
know that's part of our job description
10:53
now in college football is player
10:56
acquisition um retention uh terms that
11:00
really have not been used in college
11:02
football before uh and of course that
11:05
all started with the um I don't know the
11:07
history behind it but that all started
11:09
with the
11:10
nil um era and all that kind of stuff so
11:14
I think there's definitely some some
11:17
U some similarities uh I don't know how
11:21
much these guys have to go to school
11:25
these guys getting good grades are
11:26
important to these guys at least our
11:28
guys and uh you know so there's still
11:31
things that these guys have to think
11:32
about and worry about that National
11:33
Football League players do not but uh at
11:36
the end of the day uh there's some
11:38
similarities from a the standpoint of
11:40
player retention and and acquisition I
11:43
know you talked about the players having
11:44
their feet on the ground but when the
11:46
you know Bel H was announced is that was
11:49
there a buzz about the locker room could
11:51
you feel the excitement for the
11:53
opportunity front well I think um you
11:56
know anytime you have a new beginning
11:58
there's going to be excitement
11:59
but the excitement uh turning into a
12:03
good thing is up to the individual
12:05
player which goes back to staying where
12:06
your feet are and trying to get better
12:07
each and every day on whatever you're
12:09
doing whether it's in math or or geology
12:11
I went to a geology class the other day
12:13
just to check on some guys so it's um
12:16
you know it's all it all goes back to
12:18
that I mean the the excitement ends
12:20
after a while for the player and it
12:21
becomes about the work what kind of work
12:23
do they want to put in what who do they
12:25
want to be as a player who do they want
12:27
to be as a team so ultimately all that
12:29
is like things that they can't control
12:32
and we're try to rely on things that we
12:33
can control rather than that did you
12:35
learn anything in the geology class I
12:37
did a couple of things can't repeat I
12:40
let the geology Professor talk about
12:42
that classes are out I mean you can
12:44
repeat it yeah well I don't know we may
12:46
still have some guys waiting for
12:48
grades and Al also just kind of going
12:50
off that too um maybe it's presumptuous
12:53
to Phill Bel R when to give him coaching
12:56
advice but if you were to kind of part
12:58
some Wis someone who's come back from to
13:00
go back to college recently is there
13:02
anything that stands out to you like
13:04
keep in mind yeah I think you're right
13:06
with your comment I'm not going to give
13:08
him advice I'm going to try to soak in
13:10
all I can from him and uh be a better
13:13
Coach because of it Fredy I I assume
13:16
since you became the interim and you're
13:18
making more speeches to the group
13:20
collectively like what is what has been
13:22
your general message just to these guys
13:24
over the last couple days or weeks and
13:26
how do you expect them how do you expect
13:28
them to play when we hit the balls well
13:30
um I expect them to play well and
13:32
hopefully they expect themselves to play
13:34
well and that's how they're preparing to
13:35
play well um if not they shouldn't be
13:38
out there and uh every time we go on the
13:40
field we should be preparing ourselves
13:41
to play well uh but goes along with that
13:44
is you got to prepare yourself to
13:46
practice well and uh before you can do
13:49
anything exceptional on game day you
13:51
have to do it during the week um and and
13:54
again it goes back to I know I'm being
13:57
redundant here but just stay with what
13:59
whatever you're doing right there and
13:59
try to get better whether it's in the
14:01
weight room or on the practice field in
14:03
the classroom it doesn't matter just
14:05
wherever you're at stay where you're at
14:07
while you're in the interim role right
14:08
now have you had much to do with the
14:11
recruiting or portal stuff since coach
14:13
Bel was HED and if so have you seen like
14:17
a significant change in how kids View
14:20
North Carolina or the interest they have
14:22
because coach bich now in that role yeah
14:25
I don't I don't want to get too much
14:26
specifics about how I view or we View
14:30
um the players that we're actually
14:31
recruiting but yes I think uh college
14:34
football coaches are are always
14:36
recruiting we're always coaching uh
14:38
we're always talking to our players and
14:39
trying to trying to create a better
14:41
environment for them uh individually as
14:44
a student athlete and um you know put
14:47
them in the best position to win and are
14:50
you if you are involved in communicating
14:52
with these kids right now are you
14:54
hearing a different kind of response and
14:56
excitement from them about how they
14:59
North Carolina right now because of
15:01
Coach bich yeah I think uh anytime uh
15:04
coach bich talks to someone on the phone
15:07
uh whether it be a recruit a recruit's
15:09
parent uh or anything dealing with that
15:12
that potential athlete uh for us there's
15:14
definitely an excitement and um you know
15:17
so so anybody's uh anybody wants to come
15:20
come on what say to you personally just
15:23
the most about this new
15:26
chapter um
15:29
say that again say one time just new
15:31
chap what excites you the most well it
15:35
excites me that we get to line up uh
15:37
when we come back Sunday from giving
15:39
them a couple days off here uh that we
15:41
have the opportunity to get better like
15:43
it's like every other day um the kids
15:47
get a chance to put their best foot
15:49
forward each and every day um and then
15:52
next Saturday we get to go out and and
15:54
try to see if we've gotten better um so
15:58
that's the I'm a short-term Vision kind
16:00
of guy right now and my job right now my
16:03
role right now is just to make sure uh I
16:06
can do everything in my power and the
16:07
rest of the coaches do everything in
16:09
their power to get this team ready to
16:11
play next Saturday so that's really the
16:13
only thing we're focused on right now
16:14
it's not setting a next chapter or
16:16
anything like that it's just really
16:17
staying literally whatever we're doing
16:20
that day to get better just on the
16:22
upcoming game obviously you know you
16:23
have your opt outs with you know a
16:25
player like Maran but what are you
16:26
saying if anything just particular
16:29
advice to guys like uh JJ Jones for
16:32
instance who are playing this B game
16:34
really want to use it um to elevate you
16:37
drop St again prepare well go play well
16:41
that's all we ask you know it's it's uh
16:44
prepare well prepare like uh that's the
16:47
only thing on your mind at that moment
16:49
and then go and put that on the field on
16:51
game day and that's really the only
16:53
thing they can control they can't
16:54
control uh right now they can't control
16:57
what they run in April at the the with
16:59
the 40- yard dash they can only control
17:01
what's on tape because ultimately at the
17:03
end of the day the NFL people they're
17:05
going to watch what's on tape they're
17:07
not going I mean they're going all worry
17:08
about the stopwatches and stuff like
17:09
that in April but uh at the end of the
17:11
day it's always going to go back always
17:13
going to go back to what they put on
17:14
tape to the point uh this new regime
17:17
coach Bel Michael Lombard talked about
17:20
this potentially being a football
17:22
Factory and if you want to go to the
17:23
next level you play here how much do
17:27
does you guys experience at that level
17:29
play into um you know what you're
17:31
teaching these kids right now and uh you
17:34
know potentially guys that want to come
17:35
here I think uh for any potential
17:38
student athlete for the University of
17:41
North Carolina would be asinine for them
17:44
not to consider and want to come to the
17:46
University of North Carolina I mean what
17:48
are you looking for is what I would ask
17:51
um the preparation and get you ready to
17:53
play at the next level if that's a goal
17:55
of yours then we should be at the top of
17:57
anybody's list so uh I think for them to
18:01
come in and and to be in a uh a weake
18:04
program that's uh that they're going to
18:06
continue in the NFL we're going to have
18:08
a professional um weight program we're
18:11
going to have a Professional
18:11
Organization how it's run how we
18:14
practice everything dealing with the
18:16
football side of things is going to be
18:19
uh run like the NFL so if you want to
18:21
prepare like an NFL player come to North
18:23
Carolina and then secondly uh have you
18:25
been to fway park and what is it going
18:27
to be like for you football I have been
18:30
to finway park just not inside so uh
18:34
when my daughter was visiting uh
18:35
different schools and and things like
18:37
that um we we went to Boston and and
18:41
toured three or four schools up there in
18:43
that Boston area and uh so I have been
18:46
to Fenway Park walked beside Fenway Park
18:48
they just wouldn't let us in we didn't
18:51
have a
18:51
ticket I know one thing you said earlier
18:54
was it's pretty much everybody still
18:55
there except like one or two guys I
18:57
guess as far as players that are in the
18:59
portal that are playing on next week how
19:01
many meetings did you kind of have to
19:03
set up to you know kind of check this
19:05
you know who's still
19:07
around yeah I think uh you know our guys
19:10
are very responsible from the standpoint
19:12
they let us know if they're thinking
19:14
about doing something or they actually
19:16
got in the portal or whatever and then
19:18
uh when they saw who the coach was they
19:20
immediately got out so that's a
19:21
testament to them as well as coach
19:24
belich um but yeah I mean there's they
19:27
they show up to practice every day
19:29
that's all we need to know what's the I
19:31
hope that answer your question I'm not
19:32
trying to avoid it it's just I don't
19:33
really know how to answer that question
19:34
what's the practice schedule Ben since
19:36
exam are you going every day up until
19:38
the PO game or what no we've been going
19:40
uh you know up until this week they had
19:42
finals and uh we we took that in
19:46
consideration and things like that with
19:47
our practicing but but really it's uh
19:50
it's been probably every other day I
19:52
guess and then we're going to give them
19:53
a two week uh two-day vacation kind of
19:56
come back Sunday uh we felt like it was
19:58
was important for them to go home and
20:00
spend some time with their family before
20:01
we went to Boston so all Friday and
20:03
Saturday sir all Friday and Saturday uh
20:05
yes sir so what is the itinerary when
20:07
they come back what's your travel
20:09
itinerary going up there um you know
20:12
what I'm not there yet I I literally
20:14
practice what I preach and I'm staying
20:15
where my day is or uh where my feet is
20:17
and and uh I'll worry about that
20:20
tomorrow I'm not really sure yet Focus
20:24
go ahead goad focusing on the shortterm
20:26
I mean if you're if you're asking when
20:27
we're leaving to go I think of gener
20:29
Terr when you here when you go up to
20:30
Boston yeah we leave I think we leave
20:32
Wednesday and and uh Tuesday see I told
20:35
you like I'm on Thursday so we leave
20:38
Tuesday and uh yeah and we'll be up
20:41
there through Saturday you mentioned
20:44
focusing on the the short term right and
20:46
the whole Practice season always feel
20:48
like unique situation because it's for
20:50
so much on classes they're focusing on
20:52
one game opportunity you want to win the
20:54
game against uton obviously but what's
20:56
like the other Big Goal you find the
20:59
team focusing in on in this unique
21:01
stretch of the practices the big goal
21:04
and the only goal is to get better each
21:05
and every day and I know I'm kind of
21:08
being redundant in saying that but
21:09
that's truly the only goal is to get
21:11
better each and every day and then we
21:13
show up next Saturday and see if it's
21:15
good enough and uh yes of course we w
21:17
win the game or we wouldn't be playing
21:18
the game in your history do you find
21:21
that this is a time when let's say young
21:23
players can really take in that step and
21:26
apply what they've learned this season
21:28
100% like a lot of these guys that are
21:30
getting reps now in these last couple of
21:32
weeks haven't gotten too many reps
21:34
during the course of the year uh
21:36
especially the ones that have been red
21:37
shirted per se um so yeah it's a big
21:40
opportunity for them it's a big
21:41
opportunity for them to show what they
21:43
can do it's a big opportunity for our
21:45
seniors to get ready for the draft and
21:46
put their best foot forward um so
21:49
there's a big opportunity for
21:51
everybody Fred you can't um talk to
21:54
anybody else but m brown is such a
21:57
presence of this University the two St
21:59
and he was different from terms of
22:02
business personality right difficult was
22:05
it for you when all that came well um
22:09
you know I would just say this Coach
22:11
Brown has been a staple here at the
22:13
University of North Carolina has done a
22:14
tremendous job um as far as difficult
22:18
for me you know I came back to college
22:20
football for the kid that I'm coaching
22:23
whatever kid that is and the impact that
22:25
I have on that individual kid and um so
22:29
you know it was a big task for us to
22:34
remain physically there and Visually
22:38
there for the kid um because they lost
22:41
their coach too and and a lot of people
22:43
tend to forget that I mean they lost
22:45
their coach so uh you know I think more
22:48
more than just about me or our staff
22:52
it's more about the kids at that point
22:54
what were the different reactions the
22:57
range of reaction
22:59
yeah I don't I I'll let them react to
23:02
however they want to when they talk to
23:03
the media you know I'm not going to
23:04
speak for them or anything like that I
23:06
can just tell you about
23:07
me the when this thing gets fully set up
23:11
here um with what it sounds like the
23:13
vision from from Bill and lardi is with
23:17
um you know having the like the front
23:19
office side and almost the coaching side
23:21
do you think just generally do you think
23:24
you will have to recruit less because
23:27
you'll be coaching more and they got all
23:29
these other like people there doing the
23:31
recruiting is that how you sort of
23:33
Envision like yeah I don't know I don't
23:35
know uh I don't know necessarily that
23:38
but I do know that uh we will work
23:40
tirelessly uh on both aspects of things
23:43
the coaching side and the player
23:44
acquisition or recruiting or whatever
23:46
you want to call it um and at the end of
23:49
the day this is a people business
23:50
whether you're in a National Football
23:51
League or or in college football it's
23:53
about you know trying to get the best
23:55
out of this individual to put his best
23:57
foot forward make became the best player
23:59
possible and best student possible and
24:00
best person possible you know and and uh
24:04
so I can only say that it will be um the
24:09
work will be tirelessly involved to get
24:11
us to that point whatever the setup is
24:14
good time for one more when you when you
24:15
heard the vision you know that's another
24:18
thing that sort of caught people's you
24:19
know attention and Imagination like w
24:21
it's kind of a cool setup of how to
24:23
approach things on the college level
24:25
like when you have heard the vision laid
24:27
out what you thought about it well I
24:30
think uh again it's it's not like any
24:32
other situation that uh we've been in at
24:36
times it's it still goes back to the
24:38
same thing as far as making the best
24:40
decision at that moment on what kids you
24:42
want what kids you want to recruit and
24:44
it's got to be reciprocated so then we
24:47
get to that point we acquire the best
24:49
talent we can the best players we can
24:50
and then we go coach them so that hasn't
24:54
changed all right thank you k
