Jackson signs training-camp deal with Celtics

Justin Jackson has signed a training camp deal with the Boston Celtics after a 10-day stint last season with the reigning Eastern Conference champions. The member of the 2017 UNC NCAA champion team spent most of last season in the G League with the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks’ affiliate, but played one game with Boston and six with the Phoenix Suns. Manek settling in Down Under, scores 15 in his first game

Brady Manek has been in Australia for a few weeks and made his National Basketball League debut Sunday in a preseason game. Manek scored 15 points and pulled down five rebounds in 21 minutes of his Perth Wildcats’ 97–91 victory over the Adelaide 36ers. He was 6 of 15 from the floor but couldn’t find the range from the perimeter, missing all seven 3-point field-goal attempts.More
