ACC Network began 15 days of programming highlighting the best moments from the last year for each ACC school on July 2 with “ACC Network School Takeovers.”
It’s Carolina’s turn Sunday, and you’ll be able to relive five victories over top-10 teams.
In addition to eight Tar Heels victories, the network will air an episode of “ACC Traditions” at 10 a.m. that focuses on Dean Smith’s career.

Headlining the games to be replayed are a 91–87 men’s basketball victory at Duke (which airs at 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.), a 76–69 women’s basketball home upset of No. 4 N.C. State (10:30 a.m.) and a 62–26 football blowout of No. 9 Miami (6 p.m. and 1 a.m. Monday).
Also on the schedule is the 81–73 men’s basketball victory in the ACC tournament over Virginia Tech.
Spring games on the schedule are a 17–6 home win for the top-ranked women’s lacrosse team over No. 2 Syracuse (noon and 4 a.m. Monday) and a 21–9 road win for the No. 5 men’s lacrosse team over No. 9 Syracuse (2 p.m.)
Other fall victories are a 1–0 men’s soccer win over No. 3 Clemson (6 a.m.) and the 2–0 home victory for the No. 1 women’s soccer team over No. 13 Notre Dame (9 p.m.)
The men’s soccer win over Clemson came on a Fillippo Zattarin goal off of a header with one second left. The women’s soccer win clinched the regular-season ACC title.
It’s a good selection of games but the notable omission was the top-ranked field hockey team’s 4–3 overtime victory in the NCAA championship game over Michigan on May 9. The game has, however, been replayed several times on ESPNU in the last couple of months.
