On the same night that Carolina beat Duke at the Final Four, Justin Jackson had a monster G League double-double in Texas.
Jackson collected 39 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes in his Texas Legends’ 106–99 home win Saturday over the Austin Spurs, their regular-season finale.
“That’s one of the toughest type schedules that I’ve ever been on,” said Jackson, whose team arrived home at 4 a.m. that morning after a road game the night before. “I just tried to come out to play with as much energy as I possibly had, so it worked out.”
Jackson was 13 of 19 from the floor, 6 of 8 from 3-point range and made all five free-throw attempts.

Harrison Barnes’ double-double wasn’t enough for Sacramento in a 109–90 Sunday home loss to Golden State. Barnes collected 18 points and 10 points for a 12.4 game score.
Cameron Johnson rebounded from a tough return game after missing 12 with an injury to play well Sunday in Phoenix’s 117–96 loss at Oklahoma City. Johnson, who was in the Superdome for UNC’s win over Duke on Saturday, had 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Cole Anthony has been battling a sprained left big toe and tried to play in Orlando’s 118–88 Sunday home loss to New York but came out after three scoreless minutes.
