Carolina forward Harrison Ingram is one of 78 players invited to the NBA Draft Combine, which runs from May 12 to May 19 in Chicago at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis.
USC’s Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, is also on the invitation list, along with Duke’s Kyle Filipowski and Jared McCain, Virginia’s Reece Beekman and Ryan Dunn, Pittsburgh’s Carlton Carrington, Clemson’s P.J. Hall, Boston College’s Quinten Post, Wake Forest’s Hunter Sallis and Florida State’s Jamir Watkins.
Notably, former UNC and Arizona guard Caleb Love is not on the list.
Ingram announced on April 20 that he was declaring for the draft but is reportedly maintaining his college eligibility as he goes through the process. The deadline to withdraw from the draft and maintain NCAA eligibility is May 20 at 11:59 p.m., but he isn’t expected to do that.
The combine is an annual May multi-day showcase for players to show off their skills to NBA scouts. Players are measured, have medical tests taken, are interviewed, perform various athletic tests such as vertical jump and the bench press, and participate in shooting drills and five-on-five games.
