Former UNC and Arizona guard Caleb Love will join five other former ACC players in the G League Elite Camp next weekend.
The 44-player camp, which is set for Chicago next Saturday and Sunday, will include Pittsburgh’s Blake Hinson, Florida State’s Baba Miller, Syracuse’s Judah Mintz, Georgia Tech’s Baye Ndongo and Miami’s Wooga Poplar.
In addition, Pittsboro’s Jarin Stevenson, once a UNC recruiting target, who played at Alabama last season, will be part of the camp.
The players will be divided into four teams and play scrimmages on both days next weekend. At least six will earn the right to move on to the NBA Combine, which is in Chicago on May 17–19.
Love earned Pac-12 Player of the Year honors at Arizona last season, averaging 18 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 41.3% from the floor and 33.2% from 3-point range. He averaged 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists and shot 36% from the floor and 31.7% from 3-point range in three seasons at Carolina, and made the iconic 3-pointer to beat Duke in the 2022 Final Four.
Leaky Black, who just finished his rookie season with the Charlotte Hornets, participated in the G League Elite Camp last May.
