Four-star forward Niko Bundalo, the No. 24-ranked player in the Class of 2025, has North Carolina on his list of the final eight schools he is considering.
The 6–0, 210-pound Bundalo, who announced on X (formerly Twitter) on June 21 that he received an offer from UNC, is also considering Kentucky, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Texas, UConn and Xavier, according to On3.com.
His parents are refugees from Serbia but he was born in the United States.
According to multiple reports, Bundalo will make his official visit to Carolina on Oct. 4, the weekend of the home football game against Pittsburgh and likely “Live Action with Carolina Basketball.” He’ll also make official visits to UConn (Aug. 31), Michigan State (Sept. 6) and Ohio State (Sept. 21).

Here is what Bundalo told On3.com about Carolina:
“Me and Coach [Hubert] Davis have built a relationship over these past few months to where I feel like I can talk to him and let him know anything,” he said.” He’s been a really, really good recruiter for me. He’s really been the main guy recruiting me so when the dude running the team is the main one recruiting you, it’s hard not to trust him.
“Me and Coach Davis have had some really, really meaningful conversations. He actually saw me at youth camp when I was younger, in the eighth grade. It’s an unbelievable program and he’s an unbelievable guy and an unbelievable coaching staff.”
Bundalo plays for Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
He collected 31 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in the title game as his team won the National Prep Championship Tournament in Marcy.
