North Carolina will have two five-star players playing in the McDonald’s All-American Games on April 1 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

Forward Caleb Wilson, a 6–9, 195-pound power forward who committed to the Tar Heels last Thursday and 6–2 wing Nyla Brooks — the top players in the UNC men’s and women’s teams’ Class of 2025 — will represent the Tar Heels in the games.

Wilson, who will play on the West team with Duke recruit Nikolas Khamenia (a 68 forward), is averaging 24.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 3.6 blocks and 2.5 steals for Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Atlanta.

Wilson is the No. 7 in the Class of 2025, according to ESPN, and is part of a three-player UNC class that includes two four-star combo guards: Isaiah Denis of Davidson, N.C., (ranked 78th) and Derek Dixon of Washington, D.C. (ranked 52nd).

Duke recruits Cameron and Cayden Boozer, as well as Notre Dame recruit Jarel Haralson, will play for the East team in the boys’ game.

Brooks, who will play for the East team, is the women’s program’s first McDonald’s All-American since Kayla McPherson, Destiny Adams (now at Rutgers) and Teonni Key (now at Kentucky) in 2021, is averaging 18.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks for Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Va., which is 17–3.

Three other ACC recruits will play with Brooks on the East team: 6–2 forward Leah Macy (Notre Dame), 6–4 forward Lara Somfai (Stanford) and 5–10 guard Hailee Swain (Stanford).

ACC recruits on the West team will be 6–5 forward Alexandra Eschmeyer (Stanford) and 6–0 guard Emilee Skinner (Duke).

Joining Brooks, who is the No. 20 player in the Class of 2025, according to ESPN, as part of UNC’s recruiting class, are five-star 6–1 wing Taliyah Henderson of Tucson, Ariz., and four-star 6–1 forward Taissa Queiroz of Santa Rosa, Calif. Queiroz is already enrolled at UNC for the spring semester.

The games are set for 6:30 p.m. on April 1 and will air on ESPN2.
