As expected, Seth Trimble will return for his senior season at North Carolina.

He posted the news Tuesday afternoon on Instagram, with a video and a Photoshopped photo of the back of his jersey with “I’M BACK” where his last name usually appears.

Trimble, who entered the transfer portal briefly last season before deciding to return, is one of potentially three returning seniors, along with Ven-Allen Lubin and Cade Tyson.

Trimble started a career-high 18 games last season, averaging career-highs of 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.4 steals while being the Tar Heels’ best on-the-ball defender.

Trimble, who scored 33 points in UNC’s exhibition victory at Memphis, scored a career-high 27 points in the 92–90 victory over Dayton in the Maui Invitational and had 19 in the 92–89 loss at Kansas and the 68–65 victory over Georgia Tech. He had three double-doubles last season.
