RJ Davis scored 14 points Saturday in the first of his two games at G League Elite Camp in Chicago.

Davis started, was 5 of 9 from the floor and missed both 3-point attempts with two rebounds, two assists and a turnover as his Team One beat Team Two 89–85 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

Former Missouri player Tomar Bates led Team One with 19 points and two 3-pointers, while former Penn State player Yanic Konan Neiderhauser paced Team Two with 17 points.

Davis plays his second game at 6:35 Sunday night against Team 4, which features former UNC teammate and Arizona star Caleb Love. Love’s team faced Team 2, led by Louisville’s Chucky Hepburn, in the second Saturday game.

There are 45 players at the camp, which started Friday, to showcase their skills in front of NBA and G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives. In addition to the games, they go through strength and agility drills.

A select group from the camp will earn invitations to the NBA Draft Combine, which runs Sunday through May 18 and will include former UNC forward Drake Powell.
