If you want to watch No. 12 North Carolina’s game Saturday at SMU on TV, you’ll have to figure out your CW affiliate.
The Tar Heels’ games Saturday at 2:15 at SMU is on The CW, a national network that launched in 2006. On the call of the game will be Thom Brennaman on play-by-play and Mike Gminski as the analyst.
In addition, two Carolina women’s basketball games will be shown on The CW: The Jan. 18 game at Florida State and the Jan. 25 home game against Syracuse.

Unlike some ESPN or ACC Network broadcasts, you won’t have to worry about a late-running game forcing you to either miss the start of the game or switch to another channel to see it. There isn’t a game that airs before the UNC-SMU game.

If your provider doesn’t carry The CW, your best option is an over-the-air antenna. Otherwise, tune in to Jones Angell’s radio call on the Tar Heel Sports Network (affiliates list; streams on the Varsity Network app).
