CHAPEL HILL — Here is Michael Malone’s contract to be UNC’s men’s basketball coach, which will pay him $50 million over six years, averaging $8.33 million per season. He has potential bonuses of $1,475,000 each season. His buyout before April 1, 2027, is $8,000,000. It goes down every season, and is $500,000 if he leaves before April 1, 2032. Although the version below isn’t signed, Malone has signed the contract.
