Henri Veesaar had a quiet professional debut on Saturday in the NBA Summer League, while Cormac Ryan had a solid effort in a victory and Drake Powell struggled with his shooting.
In Salt Lake City, the Atlanta Hawks lost 103–102 in overtime to the Utah Jazz. Veesaar came off the bench and logged 18 minutes, 12 seconds, scoring five points on 2–of–4 shooting while making one of three 3-point attempts and contributing three rebounds and one assist with a plus/minus of ‑13.
In San Francisco, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Golden State Warriors’ Blue team 97–83, with Ryan delivering a steady outing in his first extended run.

Ryan started and played 18:39, finishing with 13 points on 3 of 8 shooting, including making half of his six 3-point attempts and making all three free-throw attempts. Teammate Pete Nance didn’t play (coach’s decision).
In another San Francisco game, the Brooklyn Nets lost 79–76 to the Sacramento Kings. Powell started and played just over 27 minutes, grabbing eight rebounds and handing out two assists, but missed all nine shots from the floor, five from 3-point range. With the experimental free throw rule (see explanation below the schedule), he netted four points from going 2–of–3 from the free-throw line.
Tar Heels will be battling at 3 p.m. Sunday (ESPN+) in San Francisco when Powell’s Nets face the Bucks with Nance and Ryan. At 7 p.m., RJ Davis’ San Antonio Spurs meet the Golden State Warriors Gold team (ESPN+) in another San Francisco game.

The Las Vegas schedule reflects each team’s first four Summer League games there, which count toward tournament seeding. The top four teams advance to the semifinals July 18, with the championship game July 19. TV assignments for several later-round games were still to be determined.
Note that an experimental one free-throw rule is in place. One, two and three free-throw sequences produce a single attempt worth the same total points, except for the final two minutes of the fourth quarter and all overtime periods when standard free‑throw rules apply.
