Incoming UNC five-star freshmen Drake Powell and Blanca Thomas will compete in the 23rd Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Thomas will play for Team Flight in the girls game at 4 p.m., and Powell will play for Team Air Jordan in the boys game at 6 p.m. According to the Jordan Brand Classic website, you can watch streaming broadcasts of the doubleheader on the NBA app and the NBA’s YouTube channel.

Thomas, a 6–5 center out of Charlotte Catholic High School and No. 32 on ESPN’s Class of 2024 ranking, will go up against Team Air center Sarah Strong, a UConn signee who had Carolina on her final three list.

Powell, a 6–6 guard out of Northwood High School in Pittsboro and No. 13 on ESPN’s Class of 2024 ranking, will play with two Duke signees — forwards Isaiah Evans and Patrick Ngongba — on Team Air Jordan, with two other Blue Devils signees playing for the Jumpmen team — forwards Cooper Flagg, the No. 1-ranked player in the class, and Darren Harris.
