ACC Network’s ‘The Huddle’ to broadcast from Chapel Hill before Virginia game

“The Huddle,” ACC Network’s signature football show, will air live from Chapel Hill on Sept. 18, the day that North Carolina plays host to Virginia.

The show, with hosts Jordan Cornette and analysts Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel and Mark Richt, will air from 10 a.m.–noon, with the crew also providing commentary at halftime and after the 7:30 p.m. game that airs on ACC Network.

All four have been with ACCN since the network launched in August 2019.

Cornette, who joined ESPN in 2017 as a college basketball analyst, played basketball at Notre Dame, and was a co-host on ESPN1000 in Chicago before coming to ACCN.

Mac Lain, a Hope Mill native, was an offensive lineman for Clemson from 2011–15 and was part of two ACC championship teams and one national championship finalist.

Manuel won an ACC title in 2012 while a quarterback at Florida State and played five seasons in the NFL, four of those with the Buffalo Bills. He joined ACCN when the network launched in 2019.

Richt was a head coach at Georgia and Miami before retiring. He played at Miami and was an assistant coach at East Carolina and Florida State before being hired by Georgia in 2011.

“The Huddle” will also broadcast from Clemson before its Oct. 2 game against Boston College and from Virginia Tech on Oct. 9 before is game with Notre Dame.
