Tar Heels ranked high again in the preseason men’s lacrosse poll

A season after North Carolina fell a win short of the national championship game, the Tar Heels are No. 6 in the preseason Inside Lacrosse Preseason Media poll.

The Tar Heels come off a 13–3 season that ended with a 12–11 loss to Virginia in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament.

The two-time reigning NCAA champion Cavaliers are No. 1 in the poll and are one of five ACC teams ranked in the top 15 along with No. 3 Duke, No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 12 Syracuse.

Carolina opens the season at home on Feb. 11 against Richmond.
