How to watch UNC’s football game at Virginia

By R.L. Bynum

Carolina’s football team is back on The CW on Saturday for its game at Virginia.

Even though it’s been only two weeks since the Tar Heels were on that network for their home game against Georgia Tech, some fans may still need a reminder of where to find it.

The CW, a national broadcast network, will also air two 2:15 p.m. Carolina men’s basketball games (home games on Jan. 18 against Stanford and on Jan. 25 against Boston College) and two women’s basketball games (3 p.m. ET game on Feb. 2 at Stanford and the 2 p.m. March 2 home finale against Virginia).

Play-by-play announcer Thom Brennaman, analyst Max Browne and sideline reporter  Carla Gebhart are the announcers for the broadcast, which starts at noon, with the game kicking off at 12:10 p.m.

If your TV provider doesn’t offer The CW, your best bet is to use an antenna to get the game over the air. If that isn’t an option, you can always listen to the call from play-by-play announcer Jones Angell, analyst Joe Jauch and sideline reporter Lee Pace on the Tar Heel Sports Network.
