Here is the complete contract extension agreement Hubert Davis signed on Dec. 4, extending his deal as Carolina’s men’s basketball coach through the 2029–30 season.
The extension increased his annual base salary from $400,000 to $1.25 million, in addition to earning $1.7 million in supplemental income this season. That number will rise $100,000 each season.
To buyout Davis’ contract before the 2029–30 season, UNC would have to pay him his base salary for every year left on the contract.
