Four more kickoff times for Coach Bill Belichick’s first season as North Carolina’s football coach were announced by the ACC and ESPN on Thursday.
After the opener on Sept. 1, Labor Day Monday, at 8 p.m. on ESPN against TCU, the Tar Heels’ game at Charlotte the next Saturday, Sept. 6, will start at 7 p.m. and stream on ESPN+.
Carolina’s next game at home on Sept. 13 against Richmond, will start at 3:30 p.m. and air on ACC Network.
Also announced were the starting times for two Friday games that will both air on ESPN. UNC’s game on Oct. 17 at California will start at 10:30 p.m., and the Oct. 31 contest at Syracuse, on Halloween night, will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Those are two of a record 12 ACC Friday games next season. The UNC-TCU game is the 16th consecutive ACC Labor Day game (excluding the 2020 COVID season).
The ACC will announce the remainder of the game times using either a 12- or six-day turnaround from week to week.
