Harrison Ingram, the former North Carolina forward who spent most of his first two professional seasons with the Austin Spurs in the G League, signed with the Utah Jazz on Saturday, the team announced.
Ingram, a 6–8 forward who the San Antonio Spurs selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, appeared in only 12 NBA games over two seasons, scoring 15 points while on a pair of two-way contracts.
San Antonio withdrew its roughly $109,000 qualifying offer to the Dallas native on July 14, making him an unrestricted free agent, allowing him to sign with Utah. The Jazz didn’t announce the terms of the deal, which is likely either an Exhibit 10 or a two-way contract.
In 88 games with Austin over two seasons, he averaged 14.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.3 minutes per game. He was the G League Player of the Week in late February after averaging 22. 2points, 13.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 57% from the floor.
During his one season at Carolina, 2023–24, Ingram was a steady presence in the frontcourt, averaging 12.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 43% from the floor and 38.5% from 3-point range. Before UNC, he played two seasons at Stanford.
