CHAPEL HILL — The power that has been hard to come by in ACC play for No. 17 North Carolina ignited an impressive blowout of Wake Forest. CHAPEL HILL — Fourteen innings, the most in a UNC-Duke game in nearly 61 years, were more than enough for Alex Madera. The error scored Tyson Bass (top photo) from second base to give No. 19 North Carolina a marathon 8–7 victory at Boshamer Stadium on Saturday to take two of three from the Blue Devils.

Miles entering portal stuns many; could previous relationship with Banghart lure her to UNC?

Olivia Miles sent shockwaves through the women’s basketball world with her decision to enter the transfer portal rather than declare for the WNBA draft, where she was projected to be a top-two pick. This is particularly intriguing for North Carolina fans, considering that Miles thought about playing for Coach Courtney Banghart at Princeton before she left for UNC.
