The hits and the power keep coming for No. 14 North Carolina. Against a good Penn State team, the Tar Heels took batting practice Wednesday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium, pounding out 14 hits to blow out the Nittany Lions 15–5 for their seventh consecutive victory.

Cole Anthony had one of his more productive games this season, but Orlando couldn’t overcome short-handed Milwaukee, playing without two All-Stars. Anthony scored a team-high 23 points, his third-highest scoring game this season, but Orlando lost at home 134–123 to Milwaukee, who played without Giannis Antetokounmpo (non-COVID-19 illness) and Jrue Holiday (sore neck).
Lights-out game for Honeycutt, UNC as Heels win shortened game for sixth straight
CHAPEL HILL — It was a lights-out performance from leadoff man Vance Honeycutt and No. 14 North Carolina on Tuesday. An 8–4 lead over Western Carolina after five innings was enough for the Tar Heels (10–3) to claim a shortened victory after the Boshamer Stadium lights wouldn’t come on.

Justin Jackson would obviously prefer to still be on an NBA roster, but the plus side is that he’s getting plenty of playing time being back with the G League’s Texas Legends. To say that Jackson was shooting well from the start of Monday’s game would be an understatement. He scored four 3-pointers in the first five minutes, with every shot getting nothing but net.
